Infectious disease and its prevention to get a healthier life

In this pandemic situation, we need to take care of ourselves from any kind of infections. Infectious diseases can be caused by many organisms. These organisms or pathogens are such as Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi or Parasites. Many pathogens live in and on our bodies and skin. Well, they are normally harmless. Or we can say they are even helpful sometimes.

Unfortunately, some pathogens are harmful for us. It may cause infectious disease that can be passed from one person to another by direct contact, water or food or aerosolization of infected particles in the environment and through the insects like mosquitoes and other insects. However, these organisms or pathogens can cause serious issues like we’ll describe in the article.

Common cold:

Many infectious diseases have the same symptoms like fever, diarrhoea, fatigue, headache, and muscle aches. However, if you are suffering from a severe cold (which is a common issue nowadays) and it lasts longer than a few days, you should consult a doc. This is a common infection that we got from another person. Also, if you have asthma you need to be extra careful from a sick person who has a cold and cough. Allergies:

 Allergies are one of the severe problems for many. It is an infectious disease. A few examples of Allergen are foods, animals, dust, medications, latex, insect bites and stings, perfumes, chemicals, and so on. Food allergies have become so common that most people experience this. Well, you need to be very careful if you have any kind of allergy. Try to avoid those foods or things that can affect your body.

HIV/AIDS:

HIV( Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the body’s resistance system. It causes AIDS and intervention with the body’s ability to fight infections. This virus can be communicated through contact with infected blood and vaginal fluids or from mother to child during pregnancy or through breastfeeding. AIDS symptoms involved weight loss, tiredness, fever, and periodic infections.

Viral Hepatitis:

Hepatitis is the tenderness of the liver. Tenderness is burning that happens when masses of the body are injured or damaged. Viral Hepatitis can damage the liver. This virus tenderness and damage can affect how well your liver is concerned. There are six different types of Hepatitis  (A-G). The three most common types are Hepatitis-A, Hepatitis-B, and Hepatitis-C.

Therefore, every disease has very specific symptoms. But these are treated differently depending on how severe they are and how much they affect your immune system.

Final tips:

●     Prevent some disease by getting vaccinations.

●     Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

●     Always cover your nose and mouth area with a mask when you sneeze or cough.

●     Do not touch surfaces in your home and workplace.

●     Try to avoid people who are sick and do not share your personal items with them.

●     Try not to drink and swim in contaminated water supplies because it can be very harmful for you.

●     Avoid eating or drinking food and drinks outside.

  • If a sick person makes any food for you, my suggestion is do not eat that food or beverage.
