Perceptions on Birth Control Methods

An online survey was conducted in the United States involving 1,302 women to find out their opinions on birth control choices. The statistics may surprise you:

21% of women who are using or have used hormonal contraceptives have difficulty remembering to use it.
23% of women aged 18 to 34 prefer daily birth control methods.
Of this age group, 80% use birth control mainly to prevent pregnancy.
46% of women who use birth control are actually relieved when they get their periods.
Many women do not use birth control methods that are most suitable for them.
