Consuming more than the recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals may do more harm than good. With the easy availability of supplements and fortified foods, 'mega-dosing' on nutrients could lead to difficulties in sleeping, focusing or could even affect your mood. Watch out for vitamin D - excessive intake could
lead to kidney stones. Over-dosing on vitamin C and zinc could lead to gastrointestinal disorders like diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
